For this months competition the two lucky winners will receive a pair of free tickets to the party on 13th February plus… Layo & Bushwacka’s newest CD mix compilation – called Shake It Brasil – which is only being released in Brazil. The only thing standing in your way of winning these two superb prizes is this easy little question…

It’s a little over three weeks away until our first Shake It party of the new decade. Layo and Matthew have been on tour around South America since just before Christmas, and you can read about their travels on Layo’s blog which he has been writing for Beatportal.

Serious amounts of respect to all of those who have supported us throughout 2009. From the guys at the Great Suffolk Street warehouse, the team behind SW4, Village Underground, Funktion One, to our wonderful photographer Vickie Parker and Rich the web guy. But most importantly of all… a HUGE THANK YOU must go out to every single one of you who bought a ticket and came down to one of our parties this year. To all those who froze in the queue at the inaugural March party, sweated in the heat of the July party, squeezed into the tent at SW4 in August, witnessed Laurent’s spectacular eight hour journey in October and then came back in December and screamed for one more tune when the lights came up, we sincerely hope you’ve had as much fun doing it as we’ve had.
Shake It will be back next year… Saturday 13th February at Village Underground… so clear those diaries! Tickets will be onsale soon, so keep your eyes peeled on the website, MySpace, the Facebook Fan page and Group and on the eflyers.
Have a wonderful Christmas and a very happy and safe new year.
Shake It.
