for those moody dance floor moments.
‘Storm & Stress’, ‘Artillery’ and ‘Gunpowder’ are available now to purchase from Beatport or head over to www.m-nus.com for more in
formation.
Secondly, Layo and Matthew have also been busy on remix duty for the one

30th June 2011

Ahead of this Saturday’s summer party at the amazing Loft Studios, Layo has had a little Q&A session of Magda…
Layo. How has 2011 been for you so far
?
Magda. “It has been a very exciting year so far and I feel like I’m doing some interesting shows at different venues which I haven’t done in the past.”
L. How do you keep up with the chang ing trends
in the music
industry?
M. ” I need constant change. I can’t play the same sound for too long because it becomes boring.
It’ s not about dra
stic changes but small surprises which people would not expect from you.
It’s important to take risks.
Trends in the music industry change every year or two and whatever they may be, there is that subconscious influence in the sound I play. Iowa codes bank ”
L. Describe your style of music.

M. “Currently I would say it’ s more di
sco-tek with heavy bass grooves and spacey sounds. I never know how to describe what I play properly.”
L. Did you ever consider doing anything else other than making music ?
M. “Actually I never intended to go into the music field.
My mother is an artist and graphic designer and since I was little my only intention was to follow in her footsteps, until I moved to Detroit (the gotham city of techno) and everything changed.”
L. Bushwacka! and I are always asked how we both met… so how did you and Richie (Hawtin) meet?
M. “I had his illegitimate baby so we had to be in contact.
Ok no… we met through friends in Detroit around 1997 and became friends, eventually working together.
He really pushed me as his opening DJ for years and thats why I’m here today.”
L. What are your plans for the summer besides playing at gigs?
M. “I’m travelling quite a bit so I’m trying to stay longer in certain places and really have a chance to see something instead of rushing from gig to gig blindly.”
L. How does London and Berlin clubbing compare Swift codes Ireland agent location?
M. “I was just having a debate with friends whether berlin or london has the craziest people.
Thats a tough one h onestly but these are the two most insane places for sure. The energy is quite similar and people really go for it.
I always enjoy both places, although the parties in Berlin don’t ever seem to end.”
L. You are playing with us in Ibiza on Friday, London on Saturday, after two days with us isn’t it enoug swift codes in Jersey C I h?
M. “I guess we will see but has it been enough in the past
? I believe I was trying to kidnap you last time.”
L. We have a beautiful space for this party, a loft with a courtyard, do you prefer this kind of intimate or more a big room
?
M. “Absolutely! Nothing beats a great and cozy environment. Its very important for the vibe of the party and how the music feels.
I cannot wait.
It will be a great night.”
